New Hours and Ideas for Summer 2009!

We've been throwing around ideas for extended hours at the winery this summer. In the past we've been open Friday - Sunday. This is what we came up with:

Wed 2-6pm
Thurs 2-6pm
Friday 2-8pm
Saturday 12-8pm
Sunday 1-5pm

Opening weekend for the extended hours will be Memorial Day instead of Mother's Day.

Thoughts? Suggestions? Send your comments!

Also, some new ideas to bring people out to visit us:
Ladies night (possibly Wednesday's)
Tapas (aka small plates) night (Friday's)
Music on the Patio on Saturday's - timeframe change from 2-5 to 4-7.
As in the past we'll have Red, White and You (4th of July celebration)
Oktoberfest (last weekend in September)

Any ideas for other fun events/themes we could have? Send comments!

Advertising

So, with money being tight in every pocketbook, we are looking for new ways to advertise. Yesterday Patty, Marge, Chris and I talked about social networking sites and blogs. So, here we are in the blogging world! I hope to maintain this as often as possible and let you know what's going on at the winery!

You may also become a fan of Trade River Winery on Facebook (Go to www.facebook.com and search for Trade River Winery).

Have sites in relation to wine and or events/weddings that you regularly visit? Let us know as it might be a great place for us to advertise! Have a blog? Link to us and we'll link to you!

Thanks, and check back soon!
